When you’re building on your own, time is the one thing you can’t get more of.

There’s no shortage of events, panels, podcasts and networking evenings for founders, and some of them are genuinely useful. But when you’re stuck on a contract, a pricing model or a pitch deck, what moves you forward is usually simpler: an honest hour with someone who knows the answer.

That’s Solo1. You list what you’re good at and what you’re looking for. You give an hour to someone looking for your skills, and get an hour back from someone who has the skills you’re missing. Not necessarily the same person. No money changes hands, and nobody’s selling anything.

We ask one thing: if you offer to help, show up and give your best hour.
