Who we are
Solo1 is run by Lumin Pro Ltd, 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA. Lumin Pro Ltd is responsible for your data (the “data controller”). For anything about your data, email privacy@solo1.org.
What we keep
When you sign up to hear when Solo1 opens, we keep:
- your first name and email address;
- the skills you chose;
- the hours a month you said you could give, if you told us;
- when you signed up and when you confirmed.
To stop the form being misused, we also keep a scrambled, one-way version of your IP address and email address for up to two days. It can't be turned back into the original.
Why we keep it
To invite you when Solo1 opens, and to set up your card with the skills you chose. We only email you about Solo1 opening. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by signing up and confirming your email address.
Who else sees it
- Krystal hosts Solo1 and its database, in the United Kingdom.
- Postmark sends our emails. It is run by ActiveCampaign, LLC in the United States, so your name and email address are sent there when we email you.
We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Sending your data to the United States
Because Postmark is based in the United States, your name and email address leave the UK when we email you. That transfer is protected in two ways. ActiveCampaign takes part in the Data Privacy Framework, including its UK Extension, which the UK recognises as giving your data adequate protection. And our agreement with Postmark includes the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, which binds Postmark to protect your data to UK standards. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards at privacy@solo1.org.
How long we keep it
- If you don't confirm your email address, your sign-up is deleted after 30 days.
- If you confirm, we keep it until you join Solo1, or until 12 months after Solo1 opens if you don't.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time, by emailing privacy@solo1.org. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
The sign-up form uses one cookie, which keeps the form secure while you fill it in and is deleted when you close your browser. We use no tracking or advertising cookies.
